Mirtazapine Shortage, Ant-Ruined Maggi, and Defamation Rants
December 3, 2020
After sitcom comfort and an ant-ruined Maggi problem, the day opened into medication shortage stress, defamation rage, and the feeling that even tiny domestic setbacks were feeding something much larger.
Gulab Jamun, Mirzapur and Admiring The Mandalorian
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2020
12:30 a.m.
I'm watching Schitt's Creek season one finale. I'm hungry. I ate dried banana flower. I'll eat some more, it's delicious. I'm having a cup of tea. My tongue left back is hurting, my mum told me to drink water. ████████████████████████████
I missed breakfast and lunch yesterday, but my mum made me homemade pizza. I accidentally, inadvertently stole and ate all 6 of my sister Lehara's Gulab Jamun sweets, as I didn't know she paid for it and it was hers because it was just there on the table.
2:00 a.m.
I ate some more of my mum's dried banana flower. I've gotten sick of it.
I was watching Mirzapur (2018) crime genre TV series on Netflix. It was terrible. I couldn't watch it, after like 45 minutes, I gave up, I'm deleting the whole tv series.
I hated it. I don't like that kind of depicted culture, it's very sad and evil and wicked, it's not acceptable. I'll watch something else.
I'm getting sleepy. I feel too tired to do my 4 minute elliptical machine jog. I'm going to watch the Mandalorian season 2 now. I love it.
2:15 a.m.
I'm getting sleepy. I need to watch The Mandalorian up close to really bask in the glory of how high quality the video quality is. It looks stunning. It's just the most beautiful thing. I'm going to sleep.
9:30 p.m.
I was feeling a bit sick today in the morning. I'm worried about things, need to go pay phone bill soon and buy some Maggi noodles. I need to tell my brother and sister not to use up all our shared data bandwidth allocation. I had lunch and now I'm going to get dinner. I need to pay phone bill before shops close.
Warning Singapore Against Leadership Derailment and Complacency
A long time ago, Singapore was a disaster. There was gambling, drugs and crime, thuggery and it was a total shitshow. Raffles fixed the place up. The Singapore we have is a 2.0. But what we must worry about at the top is "Leadership Derailment" characterised by Hubris, Omnipotence and Omniscience. It's not cool to say we've reached the top, let's keep the formula that works. Things change, the world evolves, if you lose the competitive edge, you lose.
