He f***ed up here. Because he got 2 primary guns which are nonlethal, and the pistol is a tranq gun. The guy or girl, can't kill the uav drones, which are hovering around him. So he is using smoke grenades to escape. The player should have used a rifle with lethal ammo, for taking out the drones.
The trick is to game the NPCs, by lobbing a loud frag, on the other side of the map, the guards all go there stupidly, so you can waltz on by.
It's only when 1 catches you, suddenly, they all magically know where you are, irrespective of where you are on the map somehow.

Some pro players, if you observe, do weird jump prone tricks, works right in front of npc guards (even if we can tell) and roll, or c-board box.
