I love the American diners, like this, where you get the milkshakes, I love the setting..
I went to the place, outside, opposite Jagath's Wijeramaya Mawatha main house, which used to be an American style restaurant. The food was awful. But it looked okay. Now it's a flower shop.
I had the good luck of running into Kanchana Ratwatte, who is now the biggest bank, Bank of Ceylon's most important person, the chairman.
We had a chat. As usual, I remember everything important that is ever said to me. I remember everything that is said to me. Especially, if cool, interesting or useful or business related.
