Watching A Few Good Men During Flashbacks
2:15 p.m.
(b)
I am watching A Few Good Men 1992.
It's a brilliant movie!
I think i have flashbacks of ███████. ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████I think this is the way to save Sri Lanka.
Praising Rhyming Dialogue and Remembering Slow Tutoring
3:45 p.m.
Brilliant writing! Very clever, very good. It rhymes!
SO PERFECTLY!
I think in Singapore, Valerie HY Chai, she would do personal tutoring for me. She is smart, so she talks very fast, but I am slow, so I asked her to slow down. It was still too fast, so I asked her to slowdown to kindergarten pace, and then, and only then, did i do very well, scoring As and Bs.
A Sixty-Minute Elliptical Workout and Estimating the Distance
3:45 p.m.
(b)
I did 60 minutes of high intensity elliptical machine running yesterday. I can't see how many miles is run. It's a simple machine, the Esser Marketing people gifted me and fixed when I mentioned my uncle's name. : ) I think it's about 6 miles! Or 10km.

Why Scripts Need Collaboration and Spoken Dialogue Testing
4:00 p.m.
(b)
I don't agree with the idea that one person should write a script by herself. It's a stupid idea. Aaron Sorkin, is considered, the best. I learned from his MasterClass. I am writing dialogue into my script.
BUT.
There's a few problems.
There are* a few problems with this:
1. I think in the real world, people watch their mouths now. They are aware of the cancel culture. They are afraid of being shouted at. It's a very oestrogen driven world we live in nowadays.
This is perhaps, a good thing. People share negative views in private, at least, I do. I think people nowadays write their negative views in their diaries and then make a list of people they hate, and ask G-d to███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
People say things with intent, with motive, with tact, with finesse and style.
Why is this a problem, you may ask?
What's the point, Lehan?
Get to the point, Lehan?
Well, you are programming people with media, so if they see people do xyz, if they see people drink Coca Cola in Jaws, or scream at each other, or kill each other, they may have that programming implanted into their minds, and it normalises it.
So, they may want to do it too.
This is why, it's good when dialogue is clever, when there are no umms or buts, and other human errors. Good dialogue writers avoid things like, complete sentences to mimic human speech. Contractions like ain't are useful.
2. When you write the dialogue for characters A, B, C, D, E and F. Six people. How are you truly supposed to do it? They are not real people. In The Social Network, you might think, oh Zuckerberg, real person. But nope. It's a fictionalised interpretation of that person. It's an actor playing a role. It even says that this is a work of fiction in the disclaimer, and any you know, any resemblance is a pure coincidence.
So, what, Lehan?
I don't get it?
Here, it's too fake. You are creating fixed characters, with a particular set of character attributes. Oh, so, this guy, Zuckerberg, he is like this. He has 03 out of 10 strength, 8 intelligence, 5 wisdom, 4 charisma, and i guess, 2 luck. He has this ruthless character trait.
So, he must always be this way.
Yes, there is a restricted movement in his character arc, his attributes grow by 2 points throughout the filmed portion of this drama presentation--even if wisdom falls by 2 points, but that is okay.
This is not very realistic. In real life, people often grow, they learn, this is not captured in film making.
It's often a punitive portrayal, a punishing, journalistic depiction, or representation, to prove a point, to make the audience feel a certain way about the case.
3. Those people, they do not talk that way. It's not natural, it feels fake, it feels IMPERFECT.
I would prefer, if people, even if AARON SORKIN or LEHAN EDIRISINGHE are the screenplay writers, that they checked it out, they spoke it.
Made it seem good, seem realistic.
Quentin says, "NO", I pay you to say my lines.
But I disagree.
Breaking Dad’s Rolex and Calling Myself a Patek Philippe
6:00 p.m.
(b)
I took my dad's Rolex. I think i kept playing with the turning thing, the dial knob, I think I broke it.
My dad Palith was a previous generation. He and everyone else is just fossil fuel for me.
Even though, I am a nuclear power plant.
I am the Patek Philippe.
The limited edition Grand Master.
Hear me chime, b-tches!
Demi Moore, Penny Barber and an A Few Good Men Parody

Bill & Gloria Gaither - A Few Good Men:
Flat Company Leadership, Talent Freedom and National Influence
8:30 p.m.
I'm watching A Few Good Men. It's a good performance. A good movie.
In our company, Cyberspace Command Ltd, even if I am the chairman and ceo, even if I tell someone, do this or do that, it's not an order.
I think that, like a minister, or president, my job, is "leadership", it's a very valuable service product.

█████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
It's a very, perfectly flat, organisational culture. People can do anything they want. It's like a fake company. You don't have to come to office. It's a very relaxed setting. Everyone, has some good in them, some value, at least 1%, they can help out in some way. These managerial strategies, they are useful because we can then attract talent internationally. It's very useful.
If you go about barking orders, it's a bad idea.
I think only my new security team will have a direct chain of command for security reasons.
Lalith Kahatapitiya, they sit at the table with teammates in his company KIK. I like that guy over at WSO2, I don't fully agree, i don't like their low tech solutions, I don't like the Sysco Labs low tech solutions, or Dinesh's Hsenid low tech HRM products, but that's because I want to see them make more advanced solutions that can outcompete.
Today, people don't just work to survive. They work, to enjoy themselves, we entered the quality of social life era a few decades ago. It's not a factory in Oliver Twist era, or a slave plantation.
I think you are better off with it.

Flashbacks, Forgiveness and Choosing to Save Lal
10:30 p.m.
I believe I will always succeed. There will always be money. So, for Lal, I see somebody who is in trouble. I have a choice, as I always do. I choose to save him, not to "kill" him.
I think I'm plagued in my mind with flashbacks the same way I think of songs. Or whatever else. It's deleterious. Suffocating.
But I see clearly after the fog of hate leaves. I think positively, constructively.
I think it's possible to save Lal uncle too. There is no need to harm them.
I don't care about money. It doesn't drive me. I am not even concerned by what I can buy with money. It doesn't motivate me either.
This Lal guy, I don't genuinely want to see him commit suicide in guilt. What happened to Jeffrey Epstein wasn't correct. Death is not a solution. Even Osama Bin Laden, if he was captured, he would've been a better asset to the US than to have killed him. There are more solutions, better, more effective.
I want to be judged by how I treat my enemies. I want to be as great as my enemies say I am.
Hokkaido Pork Ramen and Restarting an Overheated Laptop
11:30 p.m.
I had Hokkaido Pork Ramen -- the Char Siu was really, really, very good--delicious! It was char'ed siu beautifully, and i really wish i took a picture to show you, but i don't care about you.
When I came back to my room, my laptop was hot. So, I checked my Task Manager.
The laptop was on for 3 days! I wondered why. I then read this article about it.
Shutting Down Doesn’t Fully Shut Down Windows 10 (But Restarting Does) -- CHRIS HOFFMAN:
Sharma’s Hotel Sale, Wealth and Failure to Help
All that Nahil Wijeysuriya would have to confirm, which he doesn't have to because it's public knowledge, matter of fact, is that Sharma got Rs 900 (year: 2005-9) cash selling Intercontinental Hotel to him and then Dhammika Perera, and that in full knowledge of our family's grief, and that Lal has stolen the business (EI&M weren't majority owner; they've issued stocks against a majority owner, then criminally refused to let us see financials as shareholders since 2005; Sri Lanka Courts are refusing justice to us; his wife Deepa's the ETI Finance director; indicative of political corruption to deny justice for 1,000s for bribes from what they stole), and Shanika was not doing anything and the kids were in serious trouble, despite his total responsibility for crashing onto a train that he claims he did not hear and despite having travelled through that exact spot multiple times and despite our family's requests for assistance over 17 plus years:
Decided to do nothing.
In 2013, Uma Kumar Sharma, even sold 8% of NTB bank, 18,923,104 shares, at Rs 59 LKR = Rs 1,116 million LKR.
Accusing Lal Edirisinghe of Betraying the Family Business
Exhibit 3. Surviving a Betrayal by Lal Edirrisinghe who has done the following:
1. Stolen our Ceylon Weighing Machines Ltd in August 2005 which is not legally possible because we own 55% and a minority owner (including his EI&M) cannot issue shares by breaking the law, just a few days after my dad died tragically, and then meeting Gamini Marapana to promise to return it witnessed by authority figures.
2. Then telling lies, harming me and family, trying to steal my Volvo XC 70 and Mercedes Benz S Class, messing with my family members and grandma.
