Planet-Collision Curiosity and Space-Learning Sprint

I don't get it. I don't see the collision between the two planets clearly..

Josh Bjerke I just watched it again. I get it now. I think I skipped across the video impatiently the first time I saw it. Tee Hee.

Have two planets ever collided? Do you think that a sun has some sort of gravitational pull or force that causes all the planets to move the way they do -- and to avoid hitting each other?

I thought that the collision would happen midway through.. I just skipped through the 2 minutes about 3 or 4 times. When I didn't see it, I was confused and wondered what had happened. It was a bit careless on my part and I do sincerely apologise -- and promise to avoid repeating this kind of mistake.

After watching again, I saw it collide a few times.

I didn't know that two planets have ever collided. I also definitely didn't know we had a super massive black hole in our galaxy. Is that true? Holy crap, that's scary. How come we haven't been suckered into this black hole?

Exhibit 1. Birthday Wishes

I need to start this thing where you wish all your friends on your birthday and make a birthday wish for each of your friends -- instead of for yourself. Or at least, you get wished happy birthday and you make a birthday wish for all of your friends. I dunno. I think that's a lot better. It's always all about me, me, me in this world.
