SIERRA Timing Stress, Food Escapes, and Moral Fire on Monday
ஏப்ரல் 20, 2020
I spent the day worrying about SIERRA timing, escaping into food and California dreams, and trying to keep a partnership strategy alive while my mood kept sliding between moral certainty and pure restlessness.
A Missed Zoom Invite and Hope for Antibody Treatments
Mon 20 Apr
10:45 a.m.
Omg I wrote p.m. accidentally. It should be a.m. I was wondering why Ron from SIERRA didn't send a Zoom meeting invite. We're supposed to talk to Access Group's subsidiary ATSL at 6 p.m., but I dunno if it's going to happen. I better talk with Ron and figure out a strategy instead.
2:00 p.m.
Antibodies should save lives from coronavirus. Wonder if survivor's blood can be used to make cures or treatments or vaccines.
Defending Ho Ching From Facebook Attacks
Iris ███ wow.. you can choose not to vote for the PAP or do any wrong thing you choose.
How is it a dictatorship? What are you supposed to achieve by bashing/ flaming Ho Ching on Facebook?
I was so sad to see the "errr... movement" from the "196th country in the world": Taiwan. Cyber bullying is disgusting and so petty. Just because she's the PM's wife doesn't mean you can take cheap shots at her. You're affecting her wellbeing and health and you're offending all her fans.
The rest of the world, over 80% of 7 bn people love Singapore. The remaining 20% probably just don't like the place over a difference of opinion. But when our boss is kind enough to be active on Facebook, it's just so shallow and cheap to take dirty shots at her and the leaders in Singapore.
Lee Kuan Yew wasn't perfect, some of his social theories, which I agree with, weren't very popular and maybe there are ways to be more perfect. Why don't you direct your hatred towards Lee Hsien Loong? Madam Ho Ching's not a politician.
Welcoming China as a Counterweight to American Power
It's better for there to be a sense of balance by a rising, strong China where the rogue US state is no longer the world's only superpower if you've read William Blum's work.
The US tech companies are really great, but they abuse trust, don't seem to push humanity as much as they should (only as a CSR based shareholder value afterthought) and sell out their naive customers insultingly.
The world will be better for this: with a high tech China scorned and covered with scars to share in that impossible dream which made America what it is post-killing off the Red Indians and stealing their land.
