President JR Jayawardena released Walpita Kankanamlage alias Sunil Perera. ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ JR issued a presidential pardon. Sunil became a justice of peace. He served as JR's nephew PM Ranil Wickramasinghe's bodyguard.
